Our Staff:


 Pastor Jim Walter has been Lead Pastor at Cornerstone since 1995.  He is a secondary teacher-turned pastor, receiving his teaching credentials from Western Washington University in 1987.  He taught at King's West School for six years before coming to Cornerstone as Associate/Youth Pastor in 1993.  He is an ordained minister in the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination. Jim and his wife Robin have two daughters, Lauren and Carly, and a son, Ethan.

Pastor J. Peterson has recently been added to the Cornerstone staff  as Associate Pastor.  J. has attended Cornerstone since 1997 where he served as a volunteer in Missions and Youth.  J. and his wife Sharla spent a number of years in Christian Camping.  J. has a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.

J. and his wife Sharla have two daughters, Christa and Elise.

Angie Evans has been our Administrative Assistant since 2003.  She has attended Cornerstone since 1997 and has enjoyed serving in various positions.  Her husband, Nathan, is the Worship Director.  She loves the people of Cornerstone and is honored to work alongside them.

Our History

Cornerstone officially opened on Easter, 1987 at Ridgetop Jr. High in Silverdale, WA.  Cornerstone opened it's present facility in December, 2002.

Our Mission

Cornerstone's mission is to live in Communion with God, in Community with God's people, and in Commission with the world.
