Our Values: Community with One Another
Community--Building Spiritual Friendships
The family of Cornerstone is continually seeking ways to deepen spiritual friendships in order to bring
greater unity and strength to the body. Plus, getting together is fun.
Community Groups
Community groups are the best way to get to know others like you, and to consistently grow in your walk with Jesus. Right now groups of 8-15 adults meet during the week and weekends, during the daytime or evenings. With several quality groups meeting, chances are that one will be a perfect fit for you. Contact the church office (360-697-3777) for more information.
| "Cornerstone has taught
us how to forego tradition and seek a real relationship with Christ.
We came to Cornerstone from a very traditional church that didn't emphasize
a personal relationship with Christ or other believers. Now, through
Sunday worship, small groups and a fantastic kid's church we are each
growing in our faith and our friendships. The friends we have made at
Cornerstone have helped us realize God's potential for us in service in the
community and the church. Our lives are now about a daily relationship
with Jesus Christ, not just a Sunday morning thing." --Steve and Val Ford |
Women's Ministry
This year's Women's Ministry Team is headed by Darcy Dormaier. She is excited to be leading and thinks that God has some great things in store for us. To download the current Newsletter (pdf)

Women's Mentoring
Anne Schlegel oversees a mentoring program where women can receive mentoring from other
women. If you would like to have a mentor, of if you'd like to serve as a mentor to another woman, please contact Anne.
Men's Ministry
Kurt Lyons and Walt Berg oversee our Men's Ministry at Cornerstone for 2008. The Men enjoy getting together for Monday Night Men's Group, Summer activities and Service projects. Get involved!
Men's Micro-Groups
Micro-groups are groups of around 3 men who meet consistently for encouragement, fellowship, biblical application and prayer. Because they are smaller than "small groups" they can be flexible about where they meet, when they meet and what they spend their time talking about. Micro-groups give men opportunities for spiritual conversations and accountability. If you'd like to find out more, contact Pastor Jim Walter at 360-697-3777.
Community--Serving Each Other
| "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:35 If you are part of the family of Cornerstone, we want to make sure that you are both serving and being served. If you have a need that you cannot meet, please follow the contact link below to let us know what it is and how we can help. Your need may be posted to the website so others can help out if possible. Your name will not be posted on the website without your permission. On the other hand, you may not have a need but you'd like to help someone else. You can post the expertise and/or resource(s) you'd like to contribute as well. Please check this page regularly. |
